Walking in an unfamiliar area without being able to see anything around you is TERRIGYING. I’ve been doing it for years now and I’m still not even remotely used to it. it is flat out scary every time…especially if you’re trying to do it at a speed that keeps pace with all the sighted people around you. So, I felt like sharing the terror. I gave my cane and a blindfold to Necia who later on handed them off to a random surfer who just so happened to be named Pete.
