Next the discussion moves on to how women have lost some of their femininity in recent years. Stirling thinks that, ultimately, it is up to men to set the standards and lead women back into their natural feminine roles – away from feminism.
Stirling emphasizes the importance of confidence and competence in building a strong sense of self. He suggests that men can start building confidence by putting themselves in uncomfortable situations, challenging themselves, and overcoming obstacles. He believes that confidence is not a magical trait but rather a result of continuously pushing oneself out of their comfort zone and building on past experiences. The speaker concludes by stating that many men lack confidence because they have not done much with their lives. He attributes this to the comfort and ease of American culture.
Finally, Stirling discusses how modern comfortable culture has caused men to lack motivation and strive to excel. He expresses concern that men who stay in their comfort zones may wake up one day with nothing to show for their lives and feel a lack of competence and worthiness. Pushing oneself and stepping outside of your comfort zone is necessary to build confidence and a sense of accomplishment. By doing so, men will also feel deserving of wealth and women’s affection.
