According to Newsweek: 90-year-old Senator Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., the oldest serving U.S. senator, has given power of attorney to her daughter, The New York Times reports.
The ailing Feinstein, who has long faced calls to resign amid worsening health complications, made the decision in part to allow Katherine Feinstein, 66, to assist the senator in an ongoing legal battle over her late husband Richard Blum’s estate.
