I want to discuss something that’s always been debated among my friends.
Does ignoring women make men more desirable to them? And if yes, then how much should a guy ignore a woman?
I don’t know about you guys, but there have been a number of instances in my life where I wasn’t interested in a woman even when she was interested in me. At times, I was unaware of what they were doing, and other times I was just leading them on and friend-zoning them even though I knew exactly what they were doing.
However, many times, they persisted in their efforts, repeatedly contacting and messaging me, or simply trying to spend as much time as they could with me in hopes that I would finally realize that I too liked them.
But I never realized that. I chose to ignore them, and now that I think about it, maybe it was that level of indifference toward their efforts that made them want me even more.
Maybe they had attached their need for validation to the idea of a positive response from my end. When that response never came, their need for validation masked as true love in their minds, kept on growing and growing, which only made them fall for me even more.
That’s just a psychological viewpoint, but it makes a lot of sense.
I feel that women are frightened of rejection. They keep their attention fixated on a guy when he doesn’t respond to their advances until one of two things occurs. One, she gives up because she finally understands that he isn’t interested. Two, he finally caves in and they get together.
The obvious response is that, if you’re that blunt and brazen, you’ll shatter her feeble ego. You’ll just give her a courteous smile and watch as her desperation intensifies. Because she still holds out a glimmer of hope that you’ll finally say yes, you’re going to be doing her a favor. But I guess that’s just pure evil.
On the flip side, you’ll realize that you’re wasting her time on purpose since every second she spends with you is wasted, and makes it harder for her to entice another guy into a relationship.
I typically ignored the most attractive women until they lost interest and moved on without saying anything. I think a lot of women assume that men and women have the same type of thinking.
Believe me, it’s quite different.
