We all know what Hyman Roth was planning a hit, but the question is did Fredo?
Well let’s analyze what happened when Fredo was questioned by Michael.
Fredo stated that he didn’t know it was going to be a βhitβ, so what did he think was going to happen? And to add to that, a few days after the hit, he received a call from Johnny Ola.
Itβs clear that this was the moment Fredo realised he had been played, used as a pawn in a much larger game.
So it does seem Fredo did indeed not know it was going to be a hit, however, this still does not unequivocally prove Fredo truly was innocent, and so we had to go deeper.
