Title: My doctors lied to me for YEARS

From the time I was a teenager, my doctors kept promising me that they would be able to correct my blindness. While I did appreciate the confidence in their own work, I did not appreciate the false hope. There is nothing more crippling than false hope. The only thing worse than that was the time they called me up and literally said they had a cure. Actually, it was TWO cures. I went in, got tested and were then told about 3 months later that they had made a mistake and that there was actually no cure. That was…..HORRIBLE.
